We kept juggling a dozen terminal tabs, losing track of which AI agent was running where, and fighting SSH clients that felt stuck in 2010. MXterm Pro is the terminal we wanted: multi-pane, and built around how AI coding agents actually get used.

Scoped by default

The MCP server that gives AI agents access to Control Room (formerly War Room), web preview and worktrees is scoped to the live terminal. It stops authorizing the moment that pane closes.

No subscription

One payment, a lifetime license, and updates for the version series you bought. We'd rather earn your trust one purchase at a time.

Privacy first

MXterm Pro runs locally on your Mac or PC. Official builds send anonymous usage stats, which you can turn off in Settings → Privacy. We don't sell your data.

You own your license

Buy a license and it's yours. Activation is clear and easy: no account required to use the app.

Useful before promotional

We ship features that solve a real problem and skip the ones that don't. No nag screens: on Free, the upgrade prompt appears only when you hit a limit.

Our stance on privacy

Your SSH credentials and terminal data stay on your machine unless you share a pane with a paired device. Activating a license contacts mxterm.net, and the app re-checks it online at launch and about once a day. If you are offline or a check fails, Pro keeps working. There is no cloud sync for your terminal sessions.
