Control Room: Multiple AI Agents, One Project, One Shared Room
In MXterm Pro, open the right panel (⌥⌘B), choose Control Room, and join panes running Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI with the Control Room button in each pane's header. From the Moderator box you can message all of them or hand a task to one. With worktree isolation on, each agent pane in a git repo works in its own git worktree on its own branch, so two agents editing the same repo do not overwrite each other's files.

Git worktree per agent
When you open a folder that is a git repo, tick “Isolate features in git worktrees” and every agent pane gets its own worktree under `<repo>/.worktrees/swarm-<slug>` on a `swarm/<adjective>-<noun>` branch.
Live agent state, not guesswork
For the agents whose screen MXterm Pro can read, the Members tab marks each one as working, blocked or done, so you can see which agent needs you without checking every pane.
Typing deferral
A prompt queued for a pane you're actively typing in waits until you finish, or you can click “Deliver now” to send it without waiting for you to finish.
One-click Markdown report
Click “Report (.md)” in the Discussion tab to export the room's roster, the multi-agent dialogue and the system events as a structured Markdown file for a teammate or a PR.
Free vs Pro
By default, the free tier runs a Control Room with up to 2 members per room: enough to split frontend and backend work on a side project. Pro removes that limit for splitting a real codebase across as many roles as the task needs.
