SSH Session Manager & Telemetry HUD

Stop retyping connection strings. MXterm Pro saves each SSH host once, with a group, a custom identity key and a jump host if you need one, so you reconnect in one click. In an SSH tab, a bar under the terminal shows the server's CPU load, RAM and disk use, refreshed every 20 seconds.

Grouped host manager

Open the SSH Host Manager (⌘⇧H on macOS, Ctrl+Shift+H on Windows) and put each host in one group, such as Production, Staging or Development. Every host has its own identity key path and an optional jump host.

Live telemetry HUD

In an SSH tab, a bar under the terminal shows the remote host's CPU load (its 1-minute load average as a percentage of its cores), RAM use (read from `/proc/meminfo`, so meaningful on Linux hosts) and disk use of the `/` partition, refreshed every 20 seconds. It runs `python3` on the host, so the host needs python3; without it the bar does not appear.

Custom keys & jump hosts

Point any host that signs in with a key file at its own identity key (e.g. `~/.ssh/id_ed25519`) and chain through a jump host for servers behind a bastion. Set once, reused every time you connect.

Free vs Pro

By default the free tier saves up to 5 SSH hosts: enough for a personal project or two. Pro removes the limit for unlimited saved hosts, for teams managing fleets of servers across staging, production, and everything in between.
